The Perfect Backdrop: Everything and Nothing.

Nothing says accomplishment like strolling in beautiful weather and at last finding some graffiti fit for a photo-op.
Organic Zooey shirt, American Apparel skirt, canvas slip-ons, vintage belt and sunglasses, Coach Legacy teal purse.
Finally I have found a replacement for my obsession with the glorious purple Dr. Martens that I've been craving for ever: vintage Justin boots at Local Clothing (328 E 9th St.) Local Clothing is a store with a quizzical mix of secondhand pieces with western, tribal, and floral themes. Trust me on this one- it might seem a bit odd, but if you're in need of lace-ups (if you’re not I suggest you be..) check out the tiny shop's pieces here.
While in the East Village, I bought new canvas sneakers at the thrift shop Buffalo Exchange; if you don’t take a plastic bag with your purchase, 5 cents is donated to charity. Lunch was at the vegetarian bistro, Counter, though I didn’t actually sit at one. Does anyone recall when the vintage store Amarcord had their own outlet, that then mysteriously closed? I passed by it, and a store fully stocked with clothing was in view through its shut gates.
The sole purpose of my exploration wasn't just shopping-- a stop at Momofuku Milk Bar on (207 13th St.) entrance) certainly added to my enjoyment. Frozen Yogurt flavors included ones like jelly or donut, even cornflakes made their way into the soft serve. My mother and I ordered a fruit and cornflake cookie to-go ; the results have yet to be tallied.
